RTX CLASS PROPHECY Here it is T985 already. Years and years have passed since we graduated from high school. All my won-:lerful classmates wave turned out to be perfect monsters. Those Davis Boys, Lloyd and Cecil, are reportedly doing well in the brewery industry. Success began when they distilled molasses, producing what they call Davis Elixir. Still proud of her new home, Margaret Creasman gives guided tours through it every Wednesday. The main feature seems to be the lethal chamber. Her husband disappeared very mysteriously not long ago. Lavinia Teague is rarely seen around here anymore. She's busy deciphering Egyptian heiroglyphics, which she insists are worth the trouble. We were all shocked at what happened to Rhonard McRae. He, it seems, has been appointed Paris's public executioner. Somebody must have been responsible for this. Anyone need any fairy shoes? Our own little leprechaun, Ellen Bryant, has become quite a master of the art, but she'll never make money doing that. Still clinging to the sgside of life, James Walker is very sedately raising mahoohoos and studying astrology. Carol and Sylvia Pittman were rather much of a disappointment to us. . .counterfeiterS, indeed! We weren't very proud of Dorothy Bailey's achievements when we last saw her, either. Unfortunately, she's visiting in Siberia now, or we could tell you more about those achievements. We saw Joyce Allison in pretty poor circumstances. She was suffering from housemaid's knee resulting from having cleaned the Pope's private chapel in the Vatican. Robert Lanning wasn't very fair to us, hiding his hobbies away like that. Craniology is really fascinating, Bobby. Madge Walker and Gene Allison ioined forces to establish a powerful smuggling ring, dealing mostly in the Davis Elixir. George Warren has become a successful printer now. He does a great deal of Carol and Sylvia's work. At present, free-lancer lnez Lavender is doing a series of articles on the River Brethren . . .abranch of the Baptist formed in Pennsylvania in l770. She only does abstract writing. Joyce Stevens certainly fooled us by pretending to be so dainty. Now she's a German burgomaster. Casting a grave shadow over the minds of his friends is our own Donald Ray Gilkey. He felt called upon to lead the Mau-Maus, so we can give him credit for following his conscience, at any rate. Ascientistis also to be found within our group of little geniuses. Imogene Walker, eminent authority on one-celled aquatic animal life, has become so fond of her charges that they call her Mother Silas. We left, quite hurridly, the address of a good psychologist with Eugene Sparks after visiting his plan. ..they manufacture grasshopper mandibles. That never-say-study attitude of Joe Litaker seems to have completely disappeared. When we left him, he was engrossed in Caesar's COMMENTARIES ON THE GALLIC WARS. You never know what to expect these days. Margaret Simmons was certainly a crafty one. . .looking so feminine. At present she's making extensive studies in animal husbandry. Le Puy, France, claims our star athlete now. Robert Plemmons became so obsessed with lace-making, he just gave up everything for it. . Kind-hearted Virginia Crawford is managing an institution for unfledged birds and small grebes. Nonna Ann Calloway turned out to be stronger than she looked. Her position is that of a reamer, opening seams in ships for caulking. That aggressive spirit of Evelyn Peek has finally shown itself. She owns and operates a slaver that makes regular monthly runs from the Gold Coast. Business sense is nice to have around, or a least Kay Ellen Hamby thinks so. But why not be legal about it, Kay? You just can't keep those Irish down. Peggy Kelley has recently been elected leader of the Sinn Fein, a prominent Irish political party. Betty Lou Bradley refuses still to believe that the red corpuscles are necessary for life. She works constantlytrying to breed a more dangerous culture to get rid of hers. Doing a great job for the natives in South Africa, Saturnina Capps is instigator of the present trend toward realism there. We're proud of you, Nina. Society owes a debt to Blaine Moore. Anyone who discovers a new process for making Stilton cheeses deserves some re- cognition. Scoal! Happily raising tulips and even more happily drinking schnapps was the condition in which we found Grace Mason. She says the atmosphere of Holland is good for her, but we know better.. .schnapps is Holland gin. From the exotic regions of the Far East comes Roger Hartwell. He's a dealer in spices, or at least that's what he tells everyone, and he spends his spare time muttering things about AlIah. Looking every inch the admirable, competent career girl, Jeanette Morris is exactly that. lt is most deplorable, however, that her career is that of a bookie. Quiet, mild-mannered Hugh McKinney turned out to be rather fierce. After residing in San Quentin he was thrust into the world once more, where he's up to his old tricks again. , Joyce Ann Grindstaff has been banned from political office because of the Whiggery scandals. This ruins her chances of every becoming our first woman President. One exciting career we came across was Margaret Hensley's. She does night-sports playing her clavichord .... the wild life. So Mable Tilson did learn something about foreign languages. Unluckily, she's not being a good citizen about it. She gives important information to enemies of this country. Don't think she likes us. Quite logically, one would think, l have become co-owner of a company that manufacturers dumdums. As an avocationl also study Old High German. HAZE L KE LLY Class 'Prophet I A
