Class Prophecy Paul Allison, whom all of you have heard, has a Radio Program on WISE every day. He has a nine piece band, and is making records for RCA Victor. Jack Allison, that great vocalist, is now singing for Percy Faith's or- chestra. David Allison and Brabson Conley are co-owners of a large cattle ranch in Texas. Vivian Harvey and Reba Stevens are working with a large law firm in Charlotte. Eddie Harris has taken over his Daddy's grocery store in Old Fort and is doing well tor himself. Gwen Padgett, who was always so helpful in time of need, is head nurse of Grace Hospital in Morganton. I am sure you all remember how interested in sports Hershel White was. Well, he is at the top. At present, he is playing for Army, and not long ago, he was chosen AII-American Football Player. Patsy Souther and Cecil finally signed a peace treaty and are happily married. Marcella Tabor and Barbara McPeters have opened a Beauty Salon on Pack Square in Asheville. I see that Peg Brown did get married after all. You know she said she would never make that mistake. Naomi White and Louise Moore are employed with Clearwater Finish- ing Company in Old Fort. Joyce McEntire is a Laboratory Technician for John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and is married to a Private Detective. Mary Ruth Baker is a telephone operator for the Bell Telephone Com- pany . Well, I guess you are all wondering what the Crystal Ball holds for me. I am married now and my husband and I own the Bahama Beach Club in Mel- bourne, Florida. FRIENDLIEST Mary Jo Curtis Guy Revis Class Prophecy Well, I guess it's the gypsy in me--I don't know any other rea- son why they would choose me to foretell the class' future. I will now gaze into my crystal ball to see what the future holds for this grand class of l956. Turn onward, turn onward, Oh time in your flight. Let me see the graduates of '56 Ten years from tonight . In my crystal ball, I see Barbara Bradley. She is now a Home Ec. Maior and is teaching in Dallas, Texas. Barbara Rae Walker is a graduate of Dell School of Technology in Asheville, and is now working with Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville. Mariorie Raffield is married to Pete Bishop and is living in Asheville. Well, as everyone guessed, Pat Setzer is now Pat Allison. Pat and Joe are happily married and now have two darling children. Joe is employed with the American Thread Company. Hugh Vess is serving with the United States Air Force. He now has the rank of General. Diane Rockett is now modeling for the Conover Modeling Stu- dios in New York City. Guy Revis now manages the largest A Si P Market in California. Pauline Lackey married a handsome young bachelor from California and is now residing in Los Angeles. Harold Plemmons, who loved baseball so well, is now playing with the New York Yankees. Marion Teague and Gerald Lavendar are two of New York's most popular designers of ladies' clothing Harold Conley now owns a Texaco Service Station in Morganton. Dan Gibbs has opened his own electrician shop in town and is doing good business. Jeanne Silver and Sammie Allison were chosen the two most valuable basketball players in the U. S Franklin Allison is a game warden at the game farm on Curtis Creek. I hear Faye Crisp has been promoted to a private secretary up at the American Thread Company. W ITT I EST W, Mary .lo Curtis has been married to Bill Green and has been living in Gastonia. Tinker Marston is head Coach at WCTC in Western North Carolina . You have all guessed who is head man over American Thread C om pa n y. Yes, you were right, Bud Hicks. Lester Hicks drives a transfer truck for Johnson Motor Lines. He travels all over the USA.
