STUDENT SENATE OFFICERS The Student Senate, the governing body of the college, was organized in 1930. Since then it has shared with the administration the responsibility of student problems and has acted as an intermediary between the administration and the student body. Under the sponsorship of Dr. Pliska, the Student Senate has accomplished several major projects this year. Among them were the selling of second hand books for student convenience, the compiling and distribution of student directories, furnishing of guides for the Leonardo De Vinci exhibit, the supervising of all student elections, improving of the constitution, the planning for providing the college with on Alma Matter, and the co-sponsoring of the Spring Coronation Dance with the Inter-Fraternal Council. The Student Senate belongs to the students of the college. They elect its members and it is their ideas and support which make it a success. Spring Coronation Donee promoters Winston Burrus, Betty Burns and Ken 8rown look on as Director I. W. Webb, Jr., kicks-off the campaign for pledge soles by signing o pledge. A. W.
