Things blaolnsd out and when I came too, I was lying in bed in a hospital. A very thin nurse wearing horn rimed glasses was bathing ly face in cool water Everything in the room was whirling around so it took me a few moments to realize that the nurse was Pat Smart. I can't see why I d1dn't recognise Pat unless it was because she had just had all her teeth pulled the week before. Pat told me that I was doing all right and would be well in a few days After she left I was lying there quietly when the door opened and the Janitor wallsed in and I loobed the second time before I recognized him as Bill McCauley. The neat day the doctor came in to take the bandages off my head and I was very much surprised to see that the .doctor was lugene Simeroth. Pat came in that evening and told me I could listen to the radio. I turned the radio on heart out and when I left the hospital that the driver was other seniors. He I asked him about James was a Profess and dialed a station. Some crooner was singing his he had finished Pat told me that was Charles Hill. the next day and as I stepped into a taxi, I noticed Nolan Pevehouse. I asked him what had become of the told me that Bob lrazier was a big star on Broadway James Martin and Glen Turner. Be told as that or of Geometry at Yale and Glen was vice-president of the Continental Oil Company. Then Nolan told ne about himself, his wife, Ruth, and their two children He also told me about Betty lasterling, who was working for the City Chevrolet as bookhseper. Oh, yes, it was about then that some kind person helped as up from the sidewalk and told that a flower pot had fell and hit me. It wasn't a piano after all and all the rest had been a dream. Everyone is confident that he or she will be a president of something or a president's secretary. For the benefit of our year book I ask every junior what they had planned for their future years. Jimmy Candler said he was going to be a criminal and steal J. Edgar Hoover's badge. Jim Etter is going to sail the seas on a ship so big that it will be Wednes- day on the fo'c'le while it is still Tuesday aft. Tom Cothran said with this years practice he will be e good ball player next year fhe's been saying this for four yearsl. Bonnie Hurst says she wants to be a school-mom. When Joyce Walker was ask, 'What are you going to be when you grow up,N she quickly replied, 'Grown.W Mary Lee Stone would play basketball for the American Red Heads except she's not red headed. Grady Hoods is going to be a sheriff and bootleg whisky. Patsy Burlison is going to college where there are nlots of boys.' Carl Pevehouse is going to be a salesman. He will start by selling Mr. Rain- water his own front door key. Eddie Webb is going to be a politician see he can kiss the babies fespecially those around 202. Dsuna Hayden, s nestlittle girl full of pep: when she plays guard, she's really hop. Blenns lest, just take her voice and her big blonde curls: then boy, she's quite a girl. 'ands Voods is the silent type: her personality is just right. V111 Woods is mighty sweet: cute little trick that's hard to beat. Ruth l're.sier's head is turned the senior way: and probably she'11 get that guy some day. Mary Rogers is a reel swell gal: She'll tekns Ruth as a lifetime pal. Lonnie Cothran's quite a guy: if you're in trouble, he won't pass you by. Von Owens, we sure wish that he could-stay: but maybe he can cone back some day.
