You know, they come cheaper by the dozen, anyhow ary to South Africa trying his best to save the native girls from sin Irma Proendt, another classmate of mine, has advanced somewhat I remember she was Vice President of our senior class at Okoboji High, and now is President of the Montgomery, Iowa Suspender Factory making sus penders seclusively to hold men lac Mitchell has reached the highest goal of our class of Sh He is now garbage collector and junk dealer for the district of Penhook in the flourishing city of Fostoria Carol Timmons, a second Florence Nightengale, is now head nurse at a Veteran's Hospital I understand Carol does fine in her position, but is unable to take pulses because she sends the fellows pulses a racing Ronnie Arms, the shortest of our class, has become an expert at hanging ceiling wall paper He sure would be good for something like that, wouldn't he' Carole Grim is now house mother at Horatio Hornblowers fraternity at the University of lay City, Iowa I remember that she always did have a yearning for the big cities I guess Jerry Roskens must still have that fine athletic ability that he was noted for back in our high school days, for he has become the first white man to be on the famous Harlem Globetrotters basketball team Elmer Neilson, the one boy in our class of S , whom I expe be settled down by now, is still unmarried, I see In seems he' making a lot of girls happy, instead of one miserable Karen lorlsky, the smallest girl in our class, is now the top cheer leader at the University of Fostoria I always knew Karen would 'go places' with that fine cheerleading ability of hers Jeanette VanderGaast has returned to Holland and found a Dutch lad called Hank Veenstra The two additions to the family are called Jantje and Jan I remember Bob Schmidt as liking science and physics back in high school and now I see that he is a great, serious, scientist who has discovered a universal solvent, but is unable to find a container to keep it in I also saw ln the paper where an old maid lecturer was coming to lilford and when I noticed the name, it was none other than Ruth Williams, an old classmate and chum of mine and of all things, her lecture was entitled 'The Independence of lan Goodness, twenty years certainly . U - ' I h -- I+. ll . . . BD Irwin Bates has certainly changed. I see where he is now a mission- ' I ' ll ' .to . . s can bring forth many changes and this is one of the most astonishing' I see where Nate Gould now owns a big dairy farm I can remember back in high school when Nate used to tell Hrs DeWitt that he wasn't made to sing in front of people, but only to the cows laybe that is why he chose this occupation They say a radio in the barn makes a co! give more milk, but Nate's singing must be satisfying the wants of his herd These are the things I have found most interesting to me, and I have been glad to pass them on to you and share with you this remarkable find of mine, that it may answer for you, as satisfactorily as it did for me, the all important question, 'What is going to become of the Class of 195147 How We Looked Then - '?.-'H-f .-19 ,IP at a iff .43 Ietnette Befhme.
