Members of the School Board are the following: standing left to right-John H. Barksdale, Alvin Wiggs, James R. Frazier, DeRuse Cooper, and Clell Warriner. Seated - Roy LeBlanc, Carlisle Mabray, president, and Earl Buchanan. wi I Traditionally, in keeping with the public will, school boards serving our city schools have dedicated them- selves to the task of offering the best possible school program for the child- ren and youth of the community. Our superintendent and school board are continually trying to improve the in- structional staff, equipment, and sup- plies, better the physical plants, and improve the educational services of Okmulgee's elementary and second- ary schools. They work diligently toward their goal, which is to make this school an institution of opportunities for the students who attend it. Richard M. House Principal Mr. House Guides And Directs The responsibilities of Okmulgee High School resl on the shoulders of Richard M. House, principal. Stri- ving to keep O.H.S. a school which gives all students a balanced pro- gram, Mr. House must be conscious of the needs and problems of both students and faculty.
