With the aid of an inter-com system instal- led in her room at the City Hospital, Kathy King, OHS junior, is able to participate in three ol her classes, American Lit- erature, American Hist- ory, and Biology. Miss Charline Lamons, English teacher, is using the tachistoscope in her Reading Lab class to flash words and phrases on the screen, in order to help the students read by phrases rather than in- dividual letters and words. English classes are varied, unusual Trying out their read- ing ability are Sam Car- ter, Paul Farrill, Donnie Hettle, Elaine Johnson, Pat Holly, and Sue Carol Allen, all students in Miss Lamons' reading lab. Reading lab is a new class this year, which enables all students to improve thPiY' -'uvvi' habits.
