Karl Gamma Dell'a Went To S+a+e-Wide Gamma Delta offered students the oppor- tunity to talk with fellow Lutherans on cam- pus. Its meetings gave the student the experi- ence of interchange in recreation, discussion and worship. The goal of Gamma Delta was to offer a program here on campus which Bap+is+ Student Union Raised Funds, Activities for BSUiers this year included summer Bible school, fall retreat at Ponca City, the state BSU convention, and the raising of funds for the Summer Missions through the Buck-A-Month Club. This year's activities included a state-wide retreat, caroling rest homes during the Christmas season and contributing to mis- sion work. Held Spring Banquet and Picnic vespers were held weekly, highlighted by rep- resentatives of Teen Challenge from New York City. Gary Swart, Iames OSU Engineering Club Thrived The OSU Engineering Club, in its first year of existence, grew to 75 members. Members included all disciplines of freshman and sopho- more engineering and Technical Institute stu- dents, dedicated to the purpose of becoming better acquainted with different fields of en- gineering. During Its Initial Year On Campus Outstanding speakers came during the past year with agencies such as NASA, the Army Corps of Engineers and the CIA, presenting programs. Hotel and Restaurant Society Held Annual Hospitality Day Events The Hotel and Restaurant Society was a professional organization of students in the School of Hotel and Restaurant Administra- tion. Student Entertainers Traveled Throughout The S+a're Oklahoma State University's Student En- tertainers, a student employment organization, served a three-fold purpose: providing student employment opportunities, developing student confidence through public performances and furnishing entertainment for community civic clubs, schools, and churches as a public service. Besides being called upon to perform fre- quently on the campus, the organizationis tal- ented students entertained throughout the state and were able to perform anywhere, day or night, with little advance notice. Any stu- dent at OSU who could provide wholesome en- tertainment of any type was eligible to join Student Entertainers. Officers of the organization were: Chet Wil- ley, president, Suzanne Inciardi, vice-presi- dent, Sally Slack, secretary, and Ashley Alex- ander, sponsor. Student entertainer won Freshman Talent Show.
