Speakers from automotive, petroleum, diesel and other industries that deal With the mechanical aspects of engineers bring the aliiliates closer to their chosen field through films and lectures. These representatives tell how they are associated with industry and relate new and better safety methods on which the club places much emphasis. The purpose of the organization is to Create a group that is representative of the Various schools of the Tech- nological institute and to provide lectures, films, and demonstrations of both technical and non-technical nature for the membership. The major social function of the year is the annual banquet meeting in Nlay. At this meeting, outstanding members are recognized and new ollicers for the fall semester are installed.
