N. Janis and Dave Bash pause for a moment of relaxation and small talk before the bell sends them into class. ln the Sunroom Ags take a break, look for friends, play bridge, work Crosswords and drink 2,000 cups of coffee every morning. OU picked your subjects back before the semester began and now you're committed. Some of them proved more interesting than you thought they would be, and othcrsewell, you might just as well pass them and get it over with. English, math, physics, foods, ani- mal nutrition, chemistry and on and on the list goes. But iinally the time comes when the next hour is free and you can sit in the Sun- room drinking coffee and talk and talk. You talk about last night and next weekend. You talk about girls, the lab teacher, going into the army, getting married, getting a INQISKCIJS and quitting school, going steady and break- ing up, going on a dict and getting another brownie to go with the coke, buying a new coat or saving for a trip to Colorado. And after the talk there's another class and lunch. 'l'hat's what you have waited for. Sleepless nights begin to tell on jim N1cHard, Eli 225 student, and 11 olflock classes seem the longest. But seconds before class is dismissed the thought of food brings Mcllarcl and classmates back to lite.
