XXXOITIQTTS The VVOIIICIITS Panhellenic Council meets on the first Monday al't.ernoon in each month for the regular business session, at which tiine penhellenic rush rules and regulations and matters of general concern to the groups represented are Considered. ln addition it sponsors live proj- ects during the school year, one under the direction of each sorority. In November lxappa Alpha Theta pre- sided at a lneeting attended lay pledges of all groups. Chi Uniega was in charge ol' the Christmas project, which resulted in the dis- tribution of fifty baskets ol' food and toys to needy families near and in Stillwater. .Pi Beta Phi planned the annual l,ElIlllt'llGlllC' Dance. The annual Spring Banquet, held for new initiates and l'anhellenic officers, was held ill April under the direction of Zeta Tau Alpha. The officers of the Council are a President, a Vice-President, and a Secretary-Treasurer eacl1 of which must be a delegate upon the Council. The President and the Vice-Presi- dent are selected successively from the fra- ternities according to their date of installation upon the campus. The Secretary-Treasurer is elected by a popular ballot from the mem- bership of the Council. To assist the officers in obtaining an efiicient Council the following committees were appointed: Eligibility Committee, Social Com- mittee, Athletic Committee and Judicial Com- mittee. Regular meetings are held on the iirst and third Sunday of each month during the academic year. Meetings are held in the chapter houses of the members of the Council in the order in which these nieinbers were adlnitted to the Council. Each fraternity is required to pay lifteen dollars l'or dues each semester to the Council to take care of ex- penses incurred during the school year. lt is a tradition of the l.nterl'raternity Council that it shall be the host ol' the Annual lnterfraternity Council Danceg this year the Council had its l'lil't,l1 Annual lforinal Dance. This year the Council adopted the policy at the lirst of the year ol' abiding by the Con- stitution oi' the Council and all infringements of the constitution were enforced to the letter.
