It is thejob of the year book staff to prepare and finalize the material for the actual publication. This is often a tiring and hard job for those involved. The staff is composed of those willing to give extra time and effort to assure that the yearbook 1 the finest it can possibly be. Standing L to R: Harold Almon - Advisor, James Rice, Danny Wagner, Monty Hilliard, R. L. Clark. Sitting: Dickie Smiley, Terry Hilliard Margaret Robison. R. L. Clark - Editor EDI TOR'S NOTE At this time, I would like to express my thanks to those with whom I have served on the HARVESTER staff. These have truly worked hard to make this yearbook the best it could possibly be. As you look through the pages of this HARVESTER in years to come, my prayer is that you might cherish the memories of our time together, preparing for service in our Lord's work. R. L. Clark, Editor O.M.B.C LIBRAR One of the finest assets of any educational institution is its library. This is equally true of the Oklahoma Mis- sionary Baptist College. Though our library is small. we take great pride in our holdings. We have added. thanks to generous support of our friends. several valuable books and other resource materials during the course of this past year. In the providence of God. we hope to add even more in future days. The library can be a valuable resource center for faculty. and others. We expect to extend our services in a greater measure to churches and Christian leaders even outside our local vicinity. Our goal is to provide resources in Christian theology and education to as many people as possible at the lowest possible cost to everyone. The OMBC Library encourages faculty. students, Christian leaders and lay persons to utilize the resources that we can provide at a minimum cost. lf this is done. we can operate a more efficient library and through it all our Lord will be better served through His people in His churches. MBSF i' I The MBSF, Missionary Baptist Student Fellowship, is an organization of the American Baptist Associa- tion which provides an outlet of fellowship and fun for both college and high school students. This organi- zation is sponsored by the local church in or near a college town. ln the Fall of 1978, an MBSF group was initiated on the campus of Oklahoma Missionary Baptist Col- lege. Since then it has grown to not only include those OMBC students but also several high school students as well. During the 1979-80 school year, the OMBC MBSF sponsored several projects and activities. One of the highlights was sponsoring a Fall Retreat at Pitchfork Camp in Canadian, Oklahoma. as pictured above. . . . LIFT UP YOUR EYES and look on the fields, for they are white already to harvest.
