,--. A., Y--. - . , life- i ' i i 'pl 1 ll i i . f.,. i BOOTH, ROY L. . . Guymolz A cheerful disposition and an overpowering de- sire to do the right thing have characterized Spike'l since he first set foot on the Hill. He has really fought his way into the hearts of the Corps. His abilities in the ring are proof enough of his athletic accomplishments. Champ of the Northeastern Golden Gloves Boxing Tournament in 1940, and in the finals in 19-ll, he is one of the state's out- standing boxers. ln addition he is a letterman on Coach Clinels football team. You find him a fre- quent visitor at the airport, for he holds a license as a private pilot and handles the Ryan S-T as he would an old war-horse. Page 27 BOVVMAN, BEVERLY G. .... Claremore B-B is a home town boy. One of the last of the Day Dogsn, his success cannot be attributed to one single thing. His general outlook and de- sire to get to the bottom of things causes him to be a man of natural practical ability. All these char- acteristics and aptitudes, together with an absolute dependability, make him outstanding among his classmates. VVe are looking forward to seeing B-B a success, whether it is along military or any other lines.

Casox, BOBBY K ...... rfrdnmre Quite frequently is the question asked, VVho- ever is that friendly house man ?H VVe know him only as Big -Iohnfl A member of the Band, he has been Captain Kelleyys right-hand man for more than three years. The music that goes down and around from his deft manipulation of just a coil of brass will astonish one at times. Having had more than one occasion to survey the reservation, he can now pass out more detailed information about the grounds than can Joe Boyd himself. To top off his many accomplishments, he is a qualified member of Sloppy joe's Bar Flies except when away on band trips. The lad will go far, is our prediction. Page 29 l f V. , CHEATUNI, LAWRENCE Ep . lxzngnzalz, lxfznsas Larry hasn't been with us for a very long time, but the time has been long enough to make us con- clude that his home town in Kansas should be proud of one of its Hnest sons. Seriousness and studious- ness stand out as two of the most dominant traits of his singular nature. VVe expect those two, and other equally admirable, qualities to take him far in his attainment of success.
