Since he is a real soldier who cannot be stopped by side issues, it will be hard to find a successor for him. ARNOLD VVARREx D E! Reno Page 25 It was just a year ago that El Renos contribu- tion to Knowledge Knob arrived on the scene with high heeled boots and polo mallet dragging. His quiet unselfishness in all things, his slowness to anger or even argue, his frank and open manner, and above all his deep and unfailing good humor and his winning smile-these and and many other likeable qualities have earned him a host of friends. Pleasant, able, manly, he is at once liked and re- spected by all who come into contact with him. VVe wish him the best of luck and know that his determination will carry him to the top. During a windless day, if we ii ere to make a trip to the airport, we would probably find DownWindl' in the seat of one of the school's Cubs. A graduate of this yearls first semester CPT program, he holds a license as a private pilot, if you donlt believe this, ask him. He is a good pilot, and his knowledge of aviation is astoundingg but in spite of all priming and drilling by his instructor, the fact is evident that at one time or another he did make a down wind landing. In addition to his aviation activi- ties, he has found time to be Coach Clinels assistant in every line of sports. lt would be unusual to visit the gym without seeing him on the job. Page 26
