, ' -' - ragga ekdef of Slug! Prior to joining the SEVENTH Fleet as Chief of Staff, Captain Victor A. Dybdal, served in the Politico-Military Policy Division of the Office of the Chief of Naval Qperations. Upon his graduation from the U. S. Naval Academy Class of 1958, he was assigned as assistant navigator on the battleship USS ARIZONA. In 1943 he became the executive officer of the destroyer USS Morrison. and one year later was named commanding ofhcer of the destroyer USS DRAYTON. Captain Dybdal has been decorated with the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star with a gold star and the Combat -f V , the Commendation ribbon with the Combat ff V and the Navy Unit Commendation.
