The Inter-Club Council held Club Night, and 875 students eventually joined a club. The Student Senate sponsored a watermelon feast and featured such movies as Airport 77, What's Up Doc?, and The Great Gatsby. During Commitment Week, Dr. John F. Wilson, from Southwest Missouri State, helped students think on the theme, Being in the World, but not of it. HELPING Sherman Reed dress for his WPA date, Dan Branch and Phil Jackson wish they had their own dates.
