SEA activities prepare future teachers The Student Education Associa- tion at OCC was affiliated with state and national conventions. Meetings provided information helpful to pro- spective teachers as well as resour- ces and information from prospec- tive schools. Members paid dues which went to helping to change legislation in education. Members also attended a state convention and participated in contest projects in their field. SHEA completes seventh year The Student Home Economics Association, sponsored by Jane Tal- bert and Cherry Tredway, finished its seventh year at OCC. Comprised of Home Economics majors and minors, SHEA participated in the spring High School Days with an an- nual Fashion Show, centered on the theme, Somewhere Over the Rain- bow is Fashionf' The garments modeled were made by SHEA mem- bers, and many also participated in a bake sale.
