Track Team crowns two All-Americans The OCC track team posted-an ultra-successful season enroute to crowning two All-Americans and winning their 5th straight District 9 Track and Field Championship. Woody Bowles and Bobby Smith both earned All-American status and Bob Bayless won the Kansas Relays Decathlon to pace the Eagles. The distance medley team of Gary Tatum, Tom Snider, Bobby Smith and Tom Story set a new school record at the Drake relays. Coach Ray Vaughn closed out his coaching career at OCC earning numerous honors and coaching 60 All-Americans since OCC joined the NAIA in 1965.
