Center's minicourses placed in 15 states The American Citizenship Center, under the direction of Robert Rowland, finished it's year with a record of suc- cessful activities. Designed to strengthen patriotism and to bring about a better understanding of the American way of life, the ACC conducted freedom forums, youth citizenship seminars, speech competitions, essay contests, and various other public events. Minicourses represent one of the greatest efforts of the ACC. Devoting more time to the sale and distribution of minicourses than any other project, they found themselves rewarded by having them placed in schools in fifteen different states. 6. ACTING as President of the ACC, Bob Rowland stresses patriotism to OCC students. 7. AS he assists Mr. Rowland, Frank Davis, Associate Director, also holds the office of presi- dent of the booster club. 8. ALVA Shreve, Secretary to the ACC. 9. TRAVELING and cap- turing the voices of Oklahoma's greatest citizens occupies the time of Pendleton Woods, the Direc- tor of the Oklahoma Living Legends Library.

During the year, broken pipes in the Learning Center resulted in some water damage to one section of books and the surrounding carpet. 1. CIRCULATION Librarian, Gladys Burcham presents a ready smile to students - even those with fines and overdue books! 2. DIVIDING his time between the library and related classes which he teaches, Les Lauen, acts as the Library Direc- tor. 3. STUDENTS obtain ready, knowledgeable assistance from Reference Librarian, Malcolm Hinckley. 4. SANDRA Ewer, Acquisitions Librarian and Suzanne Casey, assist in the library.
