Cheerleaders promote spirit at all games Through promoting school spirit at all basketball games, the OCC cheerleaders encouraged this year's team on to a win- ning streak. PEMM active with development project Under the direction of Dr. Max Dobson, the PEMM club met once monthly and heard speakers on coaching and ref- ereeing and played nights in the gym. PEMM also helped to raise money for the developmental equipment on the developmental playground. The club consisted of physical education majors, but anyone interested in that field could Join. 3. 9 noises throw candy, perform stunts for fans The 9 Noises started each home and away game by throwing candy to the cheering crowd of Eagle fans. At half- time the group performed special events, which included mattress relays and human pyramids. In order to raise money for new cheerleading uniforms, they sponsored a hat night and the facul- ty vs 9 Noises basketball game. 3. NINE NOISES: Mark Jackson, Kevin Nash, Mark Phillips, Tim Brown, Milton Brown, Scott Wilkerson, Jeff Hams, Deek Benton, Rory Rosen- baum. 4. FEARLESS 9 Noises perform stunts dur- ing half-time at all basketball games in order to pro- mote school spirit.
