1 When the school year of 1958-59 opened, twenty-three members of the Student Representative Assembly met to start the usual run of school acivities. SRA elected as its officers Vice-president Ron Whitmore, Secretary Sandy Hulkonen, Treasurer Dan Conklin. The SRA dedicated itself during the year to improving the school and its program for all students. Among various activities were Homecoming festivities, the Alma Mater written by Dr. H. Owen Reed, Teen Center committees. Community Service Day, mock elections, a new basketball scoreboard, and other outstanding contributions.
