As young citizens of this growing State, we realize the great heritage which is ours in being a part of a citizenry who look with pride to the colorful history of the past and with eager anticipation and an abiding faith in the future. Realizing that there have been, and are still, many in our local Community, County, State, and Nation who by their contributions have left, and are leaving, their footprints in the sands of time, thus causing inspiration and meriting admiration, we feel that it is very fitting to recognize these citizens on this anniversary.
