Ed. lf from O. U. His ability to Keep harmony among the faculty and students I is recognized by all. a' Mr. Russell R. Lipe, Principal, received a B. S. from the Univ. of AlBbdmB, majoring in Phys. Ed.g and an M. S. from Oklahoma A k Min ' School AdmiD1StI8ti0D. He came here in l956 , but left to serve for ' if several years in the Navy. He returned in 1946 to become Principal . jf Mrs. John H. Lawrence is Library and Senior sponsor, and direcuu f of the Jr. and Sr. plays. Mrs. Lawrence's degrees are a B. A. from I East Central, and an M. Ed. from O. U. , with English being her major. I She joined our faculty in '46. Miss Euline George, Senior sponsor, has a B. A. and an M. A. in History, from O. U. To liven up her History classes she gives some very interesting characterizations. Mrs. Georgia Conner, Junior sponsor, has charge of the annual Jn Sr. bancuet. She has a B. S. from East Central, with a major in Home Economics. She has taught here since 1945. Mr. John H. Lawrence, Jr. sponsor, is Math Instructor. He has an M. Ed. from O. U. and a B. S. from Oklahoma A a M, in Education. 'DOC' began teaching here in '44 as a Science teacher. I Miss Katie B. Gay is teacher of Sciences. The little woman who works from morn 'til night has a B. A. in Physics from Phillips Univ. She also has an M. A. in Zoology and Botany, from O. U. Miss Gay came here in '45. Miss Verla Tate, sophomore sponsor, is the Commercial teacher. She has a B. A. from S. W. Institute of Techonology, majoring in Com- merce and English. She plans to receive her M. Ed. from O.U.thm sum- mer. This lady who 'tries to teach the teen-agers the traits for the trim secretaries' became a member of our faculty in '45. Miss Ethel CaLori, soph. sponsor, is responsible for all the Como esta usted?N which we hear. She has a M. A. from Q U. with a major in English and Spanish. Miss CaLori came here in '44. Garvin Ao Peck, the industrial arts teacher , is responsible for all of the'bonstructionn around the school. He has a B.
