CD fa WEB 1:zaiiiegsnrslligsggzzuln .AI-:QQZFZI-:r25E75i-n:r g C GLEE CLUB The Girls Glee Club of Okeene High School has made much progress in the last few years This year the club has members and is under the direction of Mr Earl Cox It appeared at nu orous public gatherings and attended the District contest at Alva OKEENE HIGH SCHOOL BAN The Okeene Band under the direction of Mr Earl Cox had one of the most successful years in its career T e Band is one of the largest and most public spirited organizations in Okeene Many new instruments and uniforms were added this year and the bands activities have been varied and vigorous The appearance of th band has been greatly improved by our new blue and white uniforms These were made poss1ble through the united efforts of the Band Mothers Club Besides giving valuable training and exper1ence to its members the band has been an 1mportant factor in the Okeene School system H The F H O consists of 36 members sponsored by Miss Roberta Wilmeth The officers are as follows President Sylv1a Weber Vice-pres1dent Katherine Lmubnch Seey A Treas Cleo McClung H1stori,n Luev M e Bonham P1rlianentar1an June Schuber Song Leader M ry Fr nces N ult Peporter Mary Naylor The ll of the F H O is to i1prove the members so as to beeone better P + vp hsnamakers and citizens of Oklahoma Meetings are held once a month This year a friendship tour was made to f1ve different towns The girls also assisted the F F A boys with their box supper and May fete REP CLUB 'XENA ig The Whipperettes this year were sponsored by Miss Roberta w Wilmoth and Miss Dean Brown The following officers were elected President June Schuber Vice president Alice Couchman Secy 5 Treas Mary Lou Cook Cheer Leaders Lucy Mae Bonham Margaret Lee Shorter Frances Westfahl, and Ruth Ebernnrt The club cons1ste5 01 36 menoers who were jackets and skirts tailored of blue and grey gnberd1ne The Whipperettes have given wonderful supp rt to the home team at all the games Much credit for furthering school sp1r1t and patriotism should be given then May the club be ever active at Okeene High '14-If 2' j'-i1Zj'Q xQgl- . . 30 . . has 0 0 0 i C5 - 'SKK r ' ' C X 1 .
