Senior History As the class of '58 started on the road to education and success, Nancy Goodyear, Rose Ella Graves, Elaine Mitchell, Donna Nichols, Gail Pierren, Joyce Somerville, Nina Workman, Chuck Abel, John Carpenter, Don DeVon, Larry Gillespie, Bob Mclntosh, Tracy Murray, Tom Payne Eddie Stein, Larry Stevens, Mark Thom son, Allen Townsend, Jerry Stout, and Dick Wehmeyer were ready and waiting to start their first year at the Virginia Grainger Grade School. Nancy Hamilton came from Seattle to join us at the end of the first grade. Only one new face joined our crew in the second grade, Carol Schmidt, from Christ the King School in Omak. Mike Conner from Christ the King School in Omak, Tom Ingram from Puyallup: David Newell from Omak, and Jack Rsoenoff from Pine Grove were added, in the third grade, to our merry band of scholars, Jerry Hawley came from Brewster to help us start our fourth grade just right, Fifth grade started and so did Virginia Bigelow from Walla Walla along with Ernie Walters from Pine Grove. The sixth grade was our last year at the Virginia Grainger SchooL JoAnn Howell entered from Kennewick, Rosemary McShane from Grand Coulee, Jerald Bettes from Galveston, Texas, Bob Colyar from Clarkston, and Mike Dickson from Oroville. Teresa Ramsey, from Umatila, Oregon, Susie Ross, from Vancouver, Washington, Steve Stone, from Omak, and Don Tarbert, from Manson joined the class in our first year of junior high, Miriam Paup, from Omak and Jerry Bice, from Richmond, California, swelled the ranks in the eighth grade. Wow! The ninth grade surely brought a number of new faces to OJHS, Bob Stockton, Geraldine Wright, and Wayne Thrapp came from' Malott, Burt Swallom from Lexington, Kentucky, Iva Kvamme from Palermo, North Dakota, Mary Baker from Christ the King School in Omak, Janet Ekkelkamp from Spokane, and Judy Ransom from Newport, In the tenth grade Estella Sheldon ame from Omak to OHS. In our junior year Bob Morton came from Omak, Margo Bennett from Seattle, Judy Bauman frmn Gland Coulee, and Lois Hokanson from Bellingham. Linda Sonnabend Joined us from Port Angeles to swell our ranks to fiftybfour for our final year,
