Best wishes to those graduating with the class of '58, A wish for a pleasant vacation for all. If I may, a word of advise--'You're never fully dressed until you wear a smilaeu A. H. Janssen Superintendent of Schools New that this school year has ended it is a time that you people should pause and reflect on its accom- plishments. For some it has been a re- warding time, gaining new knowledge and friends, for others there has been little or no reward, but the amount re- ceived from anything is always propor- tional to the effort and work put in it. To you graduating Seniors, I say Good Luck in your future endeavors. Sincerely, Theodore Pitts Graduates, you were the first students in m teaching career. It has been most gratifying to watch you grow, to meet each new challenge with a new and determined interest. Keep this trait and go onward and upward making a better life for yourself and your fellow man. To each and everyone of you, I want to wish you the very best in life. Sincerely, Robert Warnecke

N fu It can't be in the name alone Fbr it's quite devoid of tones. Surely, as some would say, It must be in the bones. To love to work and teach and play And show our youth the way-- Yes, I'd suggest a name Quite such, per chance, as Joy 0'Day, But fate seems to have another way Of bringing people out. It's when they completely forget themselves To help those 'round about. Fbr love cannot be hidden By a sure and firm com and, Nor the twinkle of an eye, Nor the gesture of a hand. Let's see noww-more for thinking with a ready hand to guide Some boy or girl who'd stumble If 'twere not by her side, I have it! Surely, you'd think I've been asleep. It's the soul that never slumbers, And it's love that never sleeps. No word seems quite to harmonize Unless it would be Wmythn Of this I am not writing-- I assure you thith. with no reluctance and fondest affection We kid's 'ud like to give a kith with this dedication To our own Miss Leone Smith.
