Three hundred fifty people tensely waited for the jur ore to disclose whether the defendant, Karen Andre, was in nocent or was guilty of murder in the first degree. Ma was portrayed by Mayd Jorgensen, Harry by Glen Haden Tom by James Cunn1nrham and Sheriff Dexter by Terry Conner Heat Lightnlng presented Janet Hilts, Winston McCulley, and John Van 1nsbergen 1n a play with qu1ck mOV1ng actlon, suspense, murder, and a surprlse end1ng. A beauty parlor was the scene for Frankly Speaking with Barbara Husum, Rosemary Pelle, Sh1rley Schm1dt, Betty Crow der, Rcsemarle Mart1n, and Janet Tate prov1ding the gossip Heat Lzghtnlng and Moon up rece1ved NVery Good' and Super1or ratlng at the Wenatchee Drama Fest va . In One Mad Nlght the actlon took place in a deserted house converted 1nto an 1nsane asylum.
