PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE To the students of OsH.S.: When you receive your oopy of Dog Tracks the school year of 1949-'50 will almost be over, It has been a very ifportant year for all of us. we saw not only the turn of a new decade, but the birth of a neww century. The prospect of getting into the new building seemed promising when the partitions came down ex- posing'a hallway now a city block long. Those things were im! portant, but most of all I like to remember- the leadership displayed by the cheer leaders at all our games and pep assem blies, the feeling of pride for our student council members at a Joint Omak Okanogan council meeting, the uneve say die spirit displayed by the Bu ldogs in the .Annistioe Day football game, the big pep rally, and in their enthusiasm, students taking time to give their teachers recognition at the bonfire, riding the rooters' bus to an out of town game, the way students and sud ienoe alike respond when our band starts playing, the original displays and decorations in the study hall, the very interesting papers published by the Growl staff, the oom unity's response to The Night of January l6th and many other similar experiences too numerous to mention Best of luck to this yearls senior class as they begin new responsibilities, and to the sophomores and juniors.
