cUetercms At the begmning of this school year Orlton High School had fourteen veterans enrolled in school These were Lewis Lindsay jack Webbert Ford Smith Dale Rook stool Shafter Weaver L C Bevel Brlly Cooper Brrt Batson Harold Wrm sett Ray Lawhorn Ed Hulsey Kenneth Miller Hollis Guest and Charlie Overstrect Most of these veterans graduated Christmas and the remainder were graduated at commencement chool dlccomplzshments The Orlton elementary school has undergone extensive rmprovements in plumbing in the last two years and some electrical re air work has been done Seyeral sets of books have been added to their li rary Swings haxe been added to the playground and teeter totters have also been in stalled under the drrectron of the P T A In the high school an attempt will be made soon to catalogue the library Additional supplies have been purchased by the Science Department North Central chec mg when the inspector comes It is possible that by the time this book comes out the Home Izco nomrcs department will have a new stove and electric refrigerator fBoard o Education., The Board of Education of the Orlton public schools consists of A D Burdette j W Martin Ted Tompkms and R E Davis One vacancy exists at the present time Mr Burdette rs the present president of the board umor fldlay The unror class presented as their annual class play Hrlarrty House by ay Tobias The play was grven Thursday evening December 19 Those in the cast were Carol Moran Norma Douglass acquelrne Stark Chris Olrver Mary Ann Nerlson Arlie Arther Bill Garrett Bill Hazlrp Wayne Robb and Leroy Henderson Mass Nellie Fry sponsor directed the play and all who saw rt said rt was a great success Comphment: 0 DoIl's Cafe Masonrc Burldmg Yale Oklghomg Mrs Lucy Doll owner and manager Where You Meet Your Fnends -'20-1 such as a microscope and other supplies.
