Oilers capture Section II crown; defeat Franklin after eleven years Following its motto Set the pace,” the small and inexperienced varsity football squad captured its first Section II title and its first victory over Franklin in eleven years. With much determination and spirit, the team came from behind suffered only three losses. Coach Duane Pat” Patterson received the Coach of the Year” award.
