From the 356 seniors who make up the Class of 1974 come many opinions concerning the kind of school that OCHS is. The senior class expressed their views in a survey distributed by the Oil Can staff, and it was found that sports, academics, music, and traditions are Considered to be the most important elements in student life at OCHS. ..f 1. Carl Pierce's American History classes watch Watergate hearings on television, one of the few ways in which the Watergate scandal was brought to the attention of Oil City students. 2. Becky Boyd shows the artifacts she collected during a church-sponsored mis- sionary tour to Africa last summer. 3. Jan Evans, a Youth for Easter Seals volunteer, teaches Amy Wagner swimming skills. 4. In pouring rain the dedicated marchers hike to Franklin in the March of Dimes Walkathon. 5.
