PRINCIPAL John O. Kaufman Principal Having a close relationship with the students is a major part of Mr. Kaufman's profession. Mr. John O. Kaufman became principal at O.C.H.S. in 1963. He accepted the position after serving five years as Director of Secondary Curriculum. Mr. Kaufman told us that he finds his present job fascinating. There are so many different people and situations that I am constantly faced with new challenges,” he said. Our principal believes it is important to aim for a high goal. “We want each student to get the best possible education,” he continued. “We ask for no more and no less. Achieving this requires the help of the faculty, the parents, and the students themselves. 1 have been very pleased with the co-operation I have received from everybody.” 18
