SCIENCE The Science Department offers biology, advanced biology, physics, chemistry, physical science, senior science, and related science. These courses are designed to inform the students about the principles of science in everyday life as well as to prepare them for advanced education or future careers. Art Transmits the Best Feelings of Men A course in art is a required subject for all of the junior high students but is an elective for the senior high students. Units studied in the elective art classes include architecture, drawing, painting, coloring, designing, sculpturing, and crafts. The pupils may be interested in art either as a hobby or a career. FINE ARTS Mr. Runzo conducts a final rehearsal before an assembly. Pat Michaelson and Lee Vandall operate a printing press in advanced art class. James Terrill, Vikki Schultz, and Carol Baker prepare linoleum blocks.
