During our four years at Senior, he was always ready to encourage us and to guide us. Under his competent supervision, the affairs of the school functioned smoothly. Amt. Cpnincignafl Mr. James Townley Always willing to listen to our pleas of in- nocence, Mr. Townley handled us with his quiet, pleasing, efficient manner--even when he doled out the detention. Although he had this disagree- able chore, he was extremely well-liked by all. 9
