r, 2 5 Senior Ufficers LEONARD ZYCK Len Class President '45-'46. This popular senior needs no introduction to students of O. C. H. S. His fine work in the football backfield and as senior class president will keep him in our memories for a long time. JOAN REPMAN LKJOU Senior Class Secretary One of Senior's girl athletes, Jo likes basketball and volleyball best. Having been an experienced home room and class officer this cheerful girl will make an efficient see- retary. BARBARA JOHNSON Jonnie Senior Class Vice-president If not her acting ability, her sweet, disposition and natural intelligence will certainly stand Jonnie in good stead in any field she enters. You probably won't need it, but-good luck, Barb. ROYAL PARKER Senior Class Treasurer One of the swellest fellows we know, Royal rivals Sinatra in voice, appearance and swoonability. His strength lies in sports and his weakness in a blond item called Jonnie . HARRY HETRICK MHVY Co-editor of the Oil Can Har1'y is synonymous with activity . If anything is percolating at Senior you can be reasonably sure that H is connected with it. Among many other things he is co- editor of this our worthy annual. ELIZABETH MASTER Liz Co-editor of the Oil Can Liz, one of our favorite Seniors, is known for her twin- kling brown eyes and gay little giggle. Her interests range from sports to music and she's su1'e to find her place in the future. JOSEPH DeSAN'l'O Joe Co-business manager of the Oil Can Joe is one of the lads largely responsible for producing the '46 Can . If his scholastic achievements can be used a measuring stick, we're sure he will have a long, success- ful life. LAWRENCE GOLDBERG Larry Co-business manager of the Oil Can Larry is one of our financial wizards responsible for the monetary backing of this book. His main interest is auto- mobiles but all who have seen him jitterbug agree that it must run a close second. SALLY GALLAGHER Sarah Literary Editor of the Oil Can Although she's been roaming the halls of O. C. H. S. for a mere two years. Sally has made many fast friends, and is an essential constituent in music and literary groups. Brief- ly, Sal':s quite il gal. MARY JANE WNUK Nookie Editor of the Senior High News Where would the Senior High News be without Nookie ? Her stuffed toad is only one of the many souvenirs which she collects. She plans to become a Laboratory Technician.
BETTE MARIE ADAMS Bets Basketball, mushball and many other sports promise to keep Bets supplied with plenty of exercise. Her athletic ability in school assures her success in the life of a tryin teacher. PATRICIA .XDDAMS Trish Pat's quite demure, but her friends report that she is lots of fun and the gang couldn't get along without her. Best of luck out in the world, Pat. JEAN AMES Gunner Don't let the nickname, Gunner deceive you. This little girl is really very sweet and quiet. She likes to swim and roller-skate. and wants to be a secretary. PHILIP AMSDELL Star We are justly proud of our boy, Phil, one of the few Seniors who is outstanding in both football and basketball. Wa-'re all behind you, Star , on the road ahead. VIRGINIA ANDERSON Ginny Although a woman whiz on ice-skates and a dangerous dame behind the wheel, Ginny is really very gentle. This dark-eyed girl will make some lucky man an efficient see- retary. JOSEPH ARCHER LlJoe9Y An eminent member of Senior's Oil and Gas Shop, Joe expects to enter the Navy. Always ready to get into mis- chief he will make many pals with his friendly ways. ROY ARCHER Bacon Bacon packed 170 pounds of fighting football fury and gentle humor into his five foot five frame. Good luck to the first fellow of our class to take the big jump. JOANNE ANDERSON UJOHY Joanne spends most of her time in the kitchen, where she is a regular artist. Her future is already determined by that wedding' ring' she wears. SHIRLEY ARCHIBLE Shirl This lucky girl with the beautiful red hair has definite plans for the future as signified by that ring: With her genuine friendliness we know she'll always be happy. MARY AUSEL Shorty Mary is taking' the home economics course and is at the same time getting' invaluable experience in domestic arts outside of school. Her friendly personality attracts everyone. DOROTHY BANKSON Dot Dottie's pastime of sewing will save one more husband in the world f1'om the plight of buttonless shirts. tTlie term husband, she confesses, will go into effect sooii after gradu- ationl.
