But the many activities of an up-to-date high school must be presented in such a manner that they will live as memories when all other connections with the high school have gone by. With this thought in mind the editors of the 1940 Oil Can have chosen the novel theme of the producing and showing of motion pictures to portray the school life of the class of 1940.
