V . u vdver it v ' dtratu mimsirauon Ohio State is justly proud of her administrators, for they handle ably the gigantic task of governing over fourteen thousand students. It is they who guide all student activity during college years. Dean of Women Esther Allen Gaw, aided by her assistant, Dean Grace Zor- baugh, supervises the housing, educational, vocational information, extra- curricular and social activities of all women on the campus. She is a Phi Beta Kappa member. Her hobbies include gardening and Spanish. Not only is Miss Edith D. Cockins the able registrar of the University, but she is also titled secretary of the faculty, alumni recorder, and University editor. Several years ago she was given an honorary Mortar Board membership in recognition of service. Park Gaw Stradley A graduate of 1920, a former member of Sphinx, the Makio staff, Alpha Tau Omega, and a secretary of the YMCA, Dean of Men Joseph A. Park is well acquainted with the personal, social, and extra-curricular activities he super- vises. He is the faculty adviser to the Student Senate. Bland L. Stradley has served a number of years as University Examiner and secretary of the Entrance Board, and he was appointed Dean of the Arts College in 1937. Mr. Stradley, who conducts all correspondence pertaining to ad- mission to any of the University, cooperative clubs, and NYA, attended both Ohio Wesleyan and Harvard. As accountant, as purchasing agent, and now as business manager, Carl E. Steeb has been associated with the University since his graduation in 1899. His work includes directing the physical plant divisions. He also serves as secretary of the Board of Trustees. Steeb Cockins [ 12}
