JAMES C. LAWRENCE gradu- ated in 1910 and is now the assistant to the president of the University of Minnesota. SAM HICIIQINBOTTOM gi-aduf ated in 1911, and is now a missionary to India. He is the organizer and now prin' cipal of the Agricultural In' stitute at Allahabad, India. CARL DONEY received his Ph. D. degree at Ohio State Uni' versity in 1902, and is presif dent of Willaniette College, Salem, Oregon. He is also an author of some note. WILLIAM LLOYD EvANs, prof fessor of chemistry at Ohio State, graduated in 1896. He was recently awarded the Nichols medal for contributf ing the greatest achievement in chemical research during the past year. GENERAL EDWARD ORTON, Jr., received his M. E. degree in 1884 and was the first man to regularly manufacture fer- roslicon in the United States. He established the iirst school of ceramics in this country in 1893, and he was dean of that college until 1910. He was also dean of the college of engineering at Ohio State University in 19024906 and in 1910f1916, and the state geologist of Ohio in 1899'1906. CHARLES F. Scorr graduated in 1885, and is at present head of the Sheffield Scien' tihc School at Yale Univer- sity. He has been a member of the American Engineering Council since 1921. JOHN CUNNINCHAM graduf ated in 1897, and is a former trustee of Ohio State Univcr' sity. He is the editor of the Agriculturist, a farm magaf zine in Wisconsin, and is an authority on farm problems. CHARLES E. SRINNER re- ceived his M. E. degree in 1890, and is assistant direct' ing engineer of the Westing' house Electric and Manufacf turing Company.
