foreword OREATER OHIO — that goal which the Ohio State Univers- ity is rapidly approaching is no longer a dream. Great strides forward have been made in a few years: and the Greater Ohio of the future is now a certainty. In this volume of the Makio. the editors have attempted briefly to portray some of the chief features of this growth. Believing that simplicity is beauty, the editors have attempted to present the year ' s history of the University with simplicity as the key note. Con- scious as we are of the inadequacies of the volume, it is our hope that in the years to come, when time has mellowed the pages of the 1925 Makio. it will recall some of the pleasant memories and friendships formed here.
