VETERINARIANS OATH Being admitted to the profession of Veterinary medicine, I solemnly dedicate myself and the knowledge I possess to the benefit of society, to the conservation of our livestock resources and to the relief of suf- fering of animals, I will practice my profession conscientiously with dig- nity. The health of my patients, the best interests of their owners, and the welfare of my fellow man, will be my primary considerations. One must plan for the future, you spend the rest of your life there. Second to write a program for instruction, clinical service, research and continuing education, and raise S9 million for a new hospital. Third, to acquire land on the campus for academic development and off campus for research purposes. Fourth, to write programs for facilities required following completion of the hos- pital. Fifth, to establish a strong financial base and program planning budgeting. Sixth, to add faculty and staff recruited from graduates of colleges other than Ohio's.
