Many students are employed by the university. The jobs include those such as: being a library aid, working the desk in a dorm, working the line at Saga and being an office aid. As many hours are put in working, for some students, as in studying. The Financial Aid Office, in charge of the work- study program, trys to coordinate job opportunities with the special skills student possess. An education major may find himself working in the Educa- tion Media Center. English majors may aid other students in grammar and a biology major may end up assisting in labs. Working as an office aid is an option open to many. Typing, filing or answering the phone keeps many busy.

Recreation can be found everywhere on campus. To start there is Mclntosh's billiards and arcade room. Bowling is a favorite pastime of many. For entertainment there are the fraternity and sorority parties, going up-town on Wednesday nights or even sitting at home watching M A S H or Loveboat. Also, there are the Sunday night movies provided by CAB. where one can catch the latest in popular screenplays. The Ada Cinema opened again this year, and is visited by lots of students. There are many ways to take a break from those long hours of studying. You can even stretch it so far as doing your laundry, ifyou can get a washer. Playing can consist of throwing a softball, playing frisbee with a friend or simply walking through Ada. The library has a host of relaxing materials to spill over to pass the time. The lat- est magazines and records are always available. For the music lovers there is always Presser Hall, in which they can pass the time playing their favorite melody on their own or borrowed instrument. For those who get the munchies, Station House. The Regal Beagle. John S Toni's or KZ Pizza, are always ready to supply some type of munchy A6 1 . f.. . 1 at 21
