Slaters Teaches Survival The course offerings for Slateris eating in 1977-78 consisted of a number of minicourses designed to help the student survive the Worst possible conditions in the outside World. Citing numerous recent natural disasters, the officials of Slaters pointed out the necessity of living under adverse conditions. Their special program is designed by starving experts to carry a normal hiunan being through the likes of typhoons, earth- quakes, and star Wars. The full list of minicourses included: '- Castro nemisis 100. This is the basic course that serves as a prerequisite to the advanced eating courses. Intestinal Science 245. This course is designed for those students who attempt self-diagnosis of ailments. Inflepenclent Study 498 - Designed especially for the brave of stomach. Cosmetic Science 302 - After this class, students can fix the worst foods to make them presentable. Gas Dynamics - The study of the principles of gas and its properties. Complex Variables 295 - An indepth study of salt, pepper, and other little-used Condiments. Metal Cast-ing 333 - Completion of course guarantees mastery of all species of mashed potato.
