The writer has known Professor Park intimately since April, l868, when he entered as a student what was then known as the Ada Select School. He continued as a student till the fall of l87l when he became a joint owner of what was then known as The Northwestern Ohio Normal School. He was connected with the school until a year before his death with the exception of a rest from July, IS99, till the autumn of l906. Professor Park was a born tea cher. He possessed heartpower and a strong personality. He was a devout Christian. His character was unblem- ished. He numbered his friends by the thousands.
