Senior Class Will We the Senior Class of 1965, realizing that OC-L is about to lose the most enthusiastic and ingenious olass ever to pass through these hallowed halls, do hereby will and bequeath the following: To the faculty our sincere thanks for a job well done, best wishes for the future, and the hope (though doubtful), that next year ' s Seniors will be less trouble than we. To Mr. Lybarger: next year ' s Seniors, and a supply of tortillas to go with the Spanish lessons. To Mr. Koch: a victorious season on the playing floor; the hope that our team will go one step further and unseat the reigning champions. To Mr. Ransbottomt books on Child Care , and How to Overcome Stuttering ; another melodious choral season. To Mr. Matthias: the book Language of the American Teenager in Grades 9-12 ; a king-sized bottle of tranquilizer pills. To Mr. Leiendecker: appreciation for having directed our play, our esteem, and a new necktie. To Mrs. Clevenger: students with steady hands; ingenuity to keep improving the Home Eo. department. To Mrs. Johnson: an automatic test-grader, rest, and one dozen long-stemmed red roses. To Mr. Bricker: love and kisses from the Senior girls. To Mrs. Eller: even though she ' s not on the faculty, we will her our love, some new helpers and a new pair of knitting needles. To Hiss Schumm: our thanks and appreciation for her help on The Totem Pole and O ' Citian, and the help she has given to our class. To the underclassmen we will the faith to carry on OC-L traditions, and: To the Juniors: the mixed blessings and frustrations of being Seniors, all our Government and World Week tests, our front row seats for assemblies and chapel, and the thrill of graduation. To the Sophomores: the opportunity to become Seniors; the great time you will have as Juniors. To the Freshmen: the knowledge that all things come to those who wait ; the courage to be original. To the incoming Freshmen: the knowledge that now as never before, you have become an integral part of this school. We, the Seniors, being of sound minds and memories, do hereby will the following: I, Sandra Agler, do hereby will my picture of Vince Edwards to Ric Uathew, and I will my good times and ab- ility to get along with my teachers to my sisters and brother. I, Peggy Amweg, do hereby will my good times in high school to my brothers, Jerry and Jackie and to my cou- sin, Janice. My books and good grades to Margaret Toad Agler. I, Tom Ash, do hereby will my NLA award to Bruce Bolenbaugh, and my ' 56(fix or repair daily) Ford to Jack Barson, and my good times in school to Huntly and Brinkley and my dirty locker to anyone who can get close to it. I, Judy Brown, do hereby will my ability to get good English grades to my brother Jack, my driving ability to John Wortman, and my speedy jumping (on quiz team) to Phil Cowan, My enjoyment from working on T.P. I leave to Polly Ream, and the great times I ' ve had in high school to all my underclassmen friends, particul- arly Jo and Joy. I, Carol Clouse, do hereby will all my good times in high school to those who think they can enjoy then. My ability to get into trouble in band and chorus to Linda Simon, and my dirty locker to Barb Kline in hopes that she can keep it cleaner than I did. I, Jim Cooper, do hereby will my ability to graduate to Dean (Tennis Shoe) Strewn, Danny (Lu) Amweg, and Roger (Peanut Butter) Bruns. Also I leave to Lorraine Wallace my ' 55 Ford rag-top, cause she first loves Fords, (ha! ha! )

I, Marvin Foster, do hereby will all of my school supplies to my sister, Helen, in hopes that she will make better use of them than I did, I also will all of my good times to Hark Bolenbaugh and my bad times to Chuck Adelblue. I will my bent up looker to Chuck; also the girls around it in hopes that he can get along with the opposite sex as good as I did, I, John Gardner, do hereby will all my good times to Cindy Dull and my abi,lity of getting out of Study Hall for a S. B. to Danny Amweg, I, Sue Good, do hereby will all the fun I ' ve had to my brother, Dean; my luck at passing notes and making excuses to Terry Linton; my seat in the corner of the auditorium to Penny Couts; my ragged gym shoes to Barb Kline; and my locker to Carol Agler, I, Diane Gunter, do hereby will my ability to sing off-key and all the fun I ' ve had in chorus to Sandra Kay Rickard, my executive ability to Phil Cowan, and the good times of my Senior year to Shirley Cheek and Jo Brubaker, To Biff Glosette, I will my ability to cut-up in study hall without getting in trouble, I, June Haver, do hereby will my ability to get along with the teachers to Janice Amweg, because she can argue almost as good as I can, I will all my old excuses to my sister, Gail, with hopes that she can sneak out of school as often as I did. Last but certainly not least I will all my best wishes to Mary Ina, that she may have a wonderful time in California and a piece of string to tie around her finger, that she will always remember the good times and close calls we ' ve had in the past, I, Mel Hurless, do hereby will my gym shoes to Dan Amweg, my female problems to Whitey and my secrets of how to get lab equipment in Chemistry to Arlene, I, Doyt Johnson, do hereby will my ability to study and stay out of trouble to my sisters and my intell- igence to Mr. Leiendecker in hopes than he can stay ahead of them, I, Butch Kline, do hereby will my ability to stay out of trouble to my brother, Mike, in hopes that he can do the same, my ability to get along with Mr, Bricker to Larry Sutton, my messy locker to Joann Clouse, my good grades to Chuck Adelblue, my ability to get out of study hall to Ron Allmandinger, I, Norma Kraner, do hereby will my ability to get along with all the teachers to my brother. Jack and all the fun I have had to Ronnie, I also will my ability to chew gum without getting caught to John Rollins, I, Joyce Landolt, do hereby will my Dear Abby ability to Joan Brubaker, my World Weeks to anyone who can pass them, my class play book to Nancy Galloway, my ability to talk constantly in Mr, Roth ' s study hall to Ned Bolenbaugh, and all of my crazy, serious, memorable times at OC to my sister, Carol and my brother Jerry, I, Larry Linton, do hereby will all my good times and my locker to my brother, Terry, my ability to lead study hall to lunch to the fastest runner in the Jr, Class, My ability to drive after night to suit Mr, Bricker to anyone who has a good friend in Cridersville. I, Richard McHugh, do hereby will all my school supplies to my brother, Joe, in hopes that he will do better than I did. To Chuck Adelblue I give my places in Home Ec, so he can lip off at the teacher a little more. To Mark Bolenbaugh the good times with friends I, Gary Medford, do hereby will my mathematical ability to Chuck Hunter in hopes that our combined abilities will get him through Algebra II, and my good times in high school to my brother. I, Rebecca Moore, do hereby will all my times in my Senior year to Joy Ricketts, all my times in Y-Teens to Sandy Rickard, all my times in chorus to Carol Landolt and Bbv Grant, my ability to yell at ballgnmes and the fun doing it to my cousin, Leslie Stemen and my silly and fun times to Ron Allmandinger and my cousin, Terry Linton, I, Becky Mottinger, do hereby will my locker to my sister Sherry, and my ability to study in study hall to my brother Jim, My ability to pass notes to their girls to Chuck and Don. I, Diane Profit, do hereby will my good times in high school to my cousins Carolyn and Monty. My ability to get out of study hall to Neila Prichard and my locker to Pam Ellinger, My Dear Abby Abilities to liida Stetler, in hopes she can help certain people more than I did. To Chuck Hunter, I will my even tempered disposition in hopes he will remember to use it next year, I, Steve Putman, do hereby will all my good times in high school to Dan Kline, my ability to study in study hall to Danny Amweg, I, Bonnie Rickard, do hereby will my good times in high school and my ability to get along with the teachers to my sister, Sandy. I, Ethel Shindeldecker, do hereby will my seat in the study hall to anyone who has enough study halls and my good times to my neioes in hopes that they have as much fun as I did, I, Sandy Wise, do hereby will all my good times to my nephews, Tim, Dee, and Tad and the fun I have had working on the Totem Pole and O ' Citian to next year ' s staffs. We leave in this yearbook a tribute to the achievements and awards of the members of this class and the hope that the memory of the class of ' 65 will remain bright as long as the name OC-L is carried in the hearts of its students — past and present.
