The below zero nights when all heat would seem to escape the confines of your room . . . the eight a.m. class and the clock says 7:55 a.m. as you wake up . . . dressing . . . what outfit, that doesn ' t go . . . gad, it ' s in the wash . . . glancing at your feet while in class and you ' ve got different colored socks on . . . boring lectures, stimulating day- dreams . . . that long hair up front— is it a girl or a boy? . . . it ' s 10:50 but he keeps you till 11:05 because Wagner is just the greatest . . . eleven to eleven thirty, the fastest half hour in the day . . . those after- noons when you should be studying but she ' s too much on your mind . . . dorm rooms- togetherness, security . . . security? ... the night they raided Minsky ' s ... the shouts of pig, the cries of swine and the victory sign • . . the white cars . . . confusion with cursing . . . censorship of the media . . . mad- ness, pure madness ... the morning after and the complete hurt of it all . . . those happy moments, and the shrill of laughter . . . why can ' t they last forever? . . . stretch sweaters, and the bods that fill them so deceitfully Friday night dates in another guy ' s car. that blasted curfew— oh, the limitations of it all.
