O.F.A. then went on to win the city title by defeating the local SMA 10-1. St. Lawerence Central dimmed their hopes by defeating them 0-4 in a game that was won in the last inning. A momentary comeback was made by defeating Massena 8-5, and in the last game of the season the Gouverneur Wildcats blew out the last flame of play-off hopes trouncing O.F.A. 16-1. '- 1- - ' 555
