SNOWFLAKE FESTIVAL 9 as O I The theme for our annual Christmas dance was Snow- flake Festival. From our sparkling snowflake ceiling to the little gingerbread house, to the snowmen in the corner, and our archway of blue lights in the middle of the dance floor, the soft feathery feeling of sparkling snow- flakes was conveyed to all present. All this was possible through the assistance of our faculty advisors. Our Christmas King and Queen, Robert Brown and Judith George, reigned over the Snowflake Festival for the evening. Music was supplied by the Knights of Rhythm from Norwood. The memories of our Senior Prom will be cherished by all of us.

Spectacle De La Mer Transformed by the mystic atmosphere of an under- water scene, the GFA gym truly became a spectacle de la mer on May 28, 1955. Our ceiling made from Spanish moss, our revolving treasure chest, sea horses adorning the walls, sea shell-band stand, and our mer- maid watching over the Prom all composed the magi- cal evening. The crowning achievement though, was our unique sea monster throne which held the King and Queen, Peter Wells and Joan Briggs. Music was supplied by the Blackhawks. Linder the guidance of Miss Crane, Miss Noxon, and Mr. Wilson, our Junior Prom became an occasion long to be remembered bv all.

MUST AL HTGHLT HTS The Ogdensburg Free Academy High School Chorus, Assembly singers, Alumni, and special groups joined together on December 18, 1955 in the annual Christmas Concert under the direction of Mrs. Gardner Robie with the assistance of the Misses Betty ,lean Ellis and Carolyn Hendee as accompanists. On April 12, 1956, the Spring Concert was presented. Two special groups, the members of the Sectionals and All-State Choir, also participated in Musical Festivals held in Potsdam and Albany respectively. During May another group chosen from the High School Chorus went to Potsdam to compete in a Musical Festival.
