SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS-Seated Les Porter Pre ident Bob Brown Vice President Stand mg Sheila Felt Trea urer Melba Fanrbairn Secretary CLASS HIISTURY As Sophomores the 1956 class of seniors participated in the pep rally held before the Canton-Ogdensburg football game in 1954. In the parade the class won both prizes for the most participants in the parade and for the best float. ln their junior year, the class of 1956 sponsored the prom which was called Spectacle de la Merf, Through the efforts of the members of the class and under the chairmenship of Sid Greenblatt and Melba Fairbairn, the gym was transformed into a mystical scene of the sea. In December of 1955 the class of 1956 held the Snowflake Festival, one of the most successful Christmas balls ever put on at O.F.A. Chairman Bob Heintzelman and co-chairman Zola Vail directed the Seniors in creating an illusion of sparkling stars and glittering snowflakes in the gym. ln January this class bestowed honor upon O.F.A. by having one-third of its members on the honor roll. The class of 1956 will be given the opportunity to display its talents for the last time on Monday, June 25, at the Class Night.
