-I unior-Senior Banquet and Prom The theme of the Junior-Senior Ban- quet and Prom was MOONLIGHT AND ROSES, The banquet tables were decor- ated with blue streamers and red roses. We were served Swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas, tossed salad, rolls and butter, and strawberry filled angel food cakeg all of which was very delicious!! The banquet was served by the sophomore girls and boys chosen by the junior class. The gym was decorated as a summer garden with a false ceiling of blue crepe paper and with such attractions as a wishing well, a pond, a garden swing, and a punch table decorated as a flower cart. Everyone danced to the music of Bill Ballard and his Noteables. Entertainment consisted of an im- promptu fand I do mean impromptu? selection of SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY by the girls' trio fCarol Olson, Karen Bradley, and Sandra Frerichsl and accompanied by the orchestra. We Seniors wish to thank the junior class for such a delicious banquet and beauti- ful prom!! We hope the juniors next will treat you to as nice a proml.
