unior Class Histor One fme day 1n September 1956 twenty f1ve sober faced freshmen crept mto the halls of Ogden Hlgh School Wlth Mr Scha1ve as our sponsor we elected Bob Loeschen as our Presl dent Gerry Franzen as our V1ce Pres1dent Sharl Webb as our Secretary Carol Olson as our Treasurer and Gene Bluhm as our Student Counc1lRepreSentat1ve We became full fledged members of the school after we were 1n1t1ated at the Freshman In1t1at1on Dance We d1dn t do too much that year except hold a record dance to make money We lost only one member Hazel Pltts We came back the next year wlth much more Self confldence We lost Jack Shaffer and Merr1ll Leathers but gamed Dlane Emert After electmg Loretta Bluhm as Pres1dent Shar1 Webb as V1ce Presldent Gerry Franzen as Secretary J1m Provlne as Treasurer and Gene Bluhm as Student Counc1l Representatwe we planned to do great thmgs We made hlstory by rentmg the roller skat1ng rmk for a party whlch was a fabulous success and after our candy sellmg project we became known as the wealth1est sophomore class 1n the h1story of the school After such a successful sophomore vear we came back our Jumor year to do even greater th1ngs We were sorry to lose Mary Lou Stem and D1ane Emert but were happy to galn Kay Rosnett and Ned W1sel We elected LarryEhmen Presldent Chuck Carl V1ce Presldent Carol Olson Secretary Barbara Doesken Treasurer and J1m Provme Student Councll Representative to gu1de us through the year ln the tr1ed and true trad1t1on of Junlors we sold magaz1nes 1n the fall Then we really got busy and p1cked up corn mak1ng no small prof1t In the sprmg We gave our play THE BUS STOPS HERE wh1ch was a b1g success Our Banquet and Prom was based on the beautlful theme MOONLIGHT AND ROSES Agaln we leave you w1th the thought You am t seen nothm yet Jumor U S HISCOIY Class Q2 riff wa?
